Principal Architect

NAME: Roger Kenney
BIO: Growing up in the construction industry, Roger realized early on that his interests lie in the design side of the business rather than the construction.  After 5 years of building experience in Colorado he left for California to obtain his license. When he is not found adding on to his compound we refer to as "Almosta Farm",  he can be found hunting some field with his dog Eli.

Architect, LEED AP

NAME: Kris Lee
BIO: Kris is a Colorado native and received a Masters Degree in Architecture after studying at Montana State University and in Europe.  After working construction he has been working with Kenney and Associates since 2000.  Kris enjoys the outdoors and water skiing, and if he's not hanging out with his wife and their two dogs, you'll probably find him tinkering under one of his cars.

Architect, LEED AP

NAME: Walt Gantt
BIO: For several years Walt resided in California and Arizona where he developed his architecture skills.  A vacation to Colorado in 1993 proved to be long term as he would never return.  A Colorado native and also known as "Wally",  he has worked for Roger Kenney continuously since that alleged vacation.  Walt's favorite activities other than architecture include wake boarding, boating, snowmobiling, and the occasional golf outing.

Landscape Designer

NAME: Jarvis Fosdick
BIO: Jarvis grew up in Loveland and obtained his BSLA from Colorado State. He is experienced in the planning process and design; he runs this website. Outside of the office Jarvis is a visual artist and sculptor. His work is about constructed syntax and architecture; he builds quilts from plywood with rope. In his spare time he enjoys reading and music -- in fact, you can often find him playing the jukebox at the local spots in town.

Designer

NAME: Mario Gomez
BIO: Mario was born and raised in El Salvador before moving to California in 1979.  He has been involved in the field of architecture since 1989, studying at school, working for an engineering firm, an architectural firm, and in construction.  He served for 8 years in the U.S. Naval construction battalion 40 with the SeaBee's, then made the move to Colorado in 1999 after being honorably discharged.   He started working at K&A in 2004.   A fluent speaker of Spanish, he enjoys playing and watching soccer and spends his free time at home playing with and helping his wife raise three little girls.

Office Manager

NAME: Betsie Paulus
BIO: Betsie is pretty much a Colorado Native. She attended Loveland schools and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from the University of Northern Colorado. After working in the larger business sector for years she decided a change was needed. The opportunity to work for a smaller firm, with more flexible hours, has been a good fit with her busy lifestyle. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and her fourteen year-old daughter, Jordan. In her free time (what free time….did I mention I have a teenager?) she enjoys skiing, fitness instructing and playing tennis.

Firm Dogs "Eli and Belle"

NAME: Eli & Belle
BIO:

Eli has been with Kenney & Associates since 1999 and started when he was just 8 weeks old.  Growing up in a Kudos box under Roger's desk, he has developed into the firm greeter.   Eli has left his mark on the firm since his paw prints can be found etched into the lobby floor.

Belle is a rescued foreclosure dog and also Eli's new protégée. Roger found her at the Lab Rescue and brought her back so that she can now learn to greet clients and chase pheasant.
